Training Load Monitoring

All Services

It is not possible to identify the effects of training without precise quantification of the underlying workload. Training load is a term used to describe the cumulative amount of stress placed on an individual from a single training session or over a period of time. Peak Preparation is here to assist the coach or the individual athlete enhance training to achieve the desired performance outcome.

To understand the relationship between training and performance, one must first consider the relationship between fitness and fatigue. Fatigue comes and goes quickly (often a daily basis) whereas fitness takes time to build but lasts longer. Peak Preparation will assess the current status of the athlete, their current response to the applied training, and measure their progress.
